Pragmatic Romantic A self-described "pragmatic romantic" (the ultimate oxymoron, as he would put it) the author--like the protagonist in the book--has been from birth surrounded by females in his personal life: a mother who was one of seven sisters (no brothers); one sister; married with a daughter, a stepdaughter and four granddaughters. This has influenced his interest in women's and children's charitable causes such as Children's Medical Center, Dallas, and the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation (a beneficiary of $1.00 from the sale of each book) of which he is a current Board member. Read more about Robert Taylor on his blog.
